		<title> Service Transaction Handling
Without WS-AtomicTransaction</title>
		<link>http://soamag.com/I26/0223-3.asp</link>
		<description>
This article explores options available for service-oriented architecture implementations to address distributed service transaction requirements when support for standards like WS-Coordination and WS-AtomicTransaction are not available. An Auditing Service example is discussed to establish a problem state and four separate alternative solutions (including the use of compensating transaction logic) are then described and compared in relation to their support for common service-orientation principles and in relation to their long-term governance impacts

		<title>Message Auditing in Service-Oriented Architecture</title>
		<link>http://www.soamag.com/I24/1208-2.asp</link>
		<description>
For many organizations, auditing is a crucial task that needs to be performed on a regular basis to stay on top of various activities and to remain compliant with regulations. This article explores the auditing of messages in a typical service-oriented system implementation. A case is built for having a system for auditing messages, followed by an exploration of the requirements this type of system can address. A candidate architecture and design of the system is the provided, concluding how the original goals can be attained. Finally some examples are given and some caveats are highlighted.
