This objectivity is ensured by a ranking and scoring system based on a set of evaluation criteria within the corresponding evaluation models. The evalutation process is based on the analysis of results from studies carried out over the past year identifying the "Best-of-Breed" vendors available in the SOA market, according to both Gartner and Forrester. Toward the end of this article I consolidate all of the results using a simple formula that produces a final short list is revealed based on the correlation between preceding short lists obtained from each model.
